Cafe Allez! have just launched a pop-up cafe service at the iconic Belvoir Castle visitor car park. The service will operate from Van Henri, Cafe Allez!’s restored 1972 Citroen HY van.
Mark Trevarthen of Cafe Allez! explains: “we intend to provide a great service to cyclists, walkers and visitors to the Castle. We’ll typically be here at weekends and on weekdays when the Castle is open to the public. We’ll provide superb barista coffees, teas, hot chocolates, cold drinks, cakes and home-made flapjacks”.
The location offers arguably the best view of the Vale to be found and there is plentiful outdoor seating and parking along with access to toilets.
The service will run until May, and will service visitors to the new Plant Centre which will open in Easter ahead of the rest of the eagerly-anticipated Engine Yard retail village located across the road from the Castle. The Engine Yard fully opens in May, featuring a fabulous cafe and spa along with other exclusive retail outlets, ranging from a selection of high quality local producers to an amazing array of luxury brands of clothing, accessories and gifts.
Details of Cafe Allez!’s service are on their Facebook page: please check before travelling.
