The Tasting Lodge Café and Wine Shop at Hanwell Wine Estate is open on Fridays & Saturdays until the end of September, offering teas, coffee, cake and wine in a child and dog friendly environment with great outdoor seating and beautiful Notts Countryside views.
Take the Vineyard and Natures Self Guided Trail, an easy 30 mins 1km wander around the vineyard and down to the lake. Then relax whilst the children play and you take in the views.
Naturescape is a family run wildflower farm on the outskirts of Langar Village.

There is a tea room open year round. We now have fresh ground coffee from 200 degrees Nottingham (all staff barrister trained). Locally sourced meat from Gary Jowett, Cropwell Bishop butcher and bread from Adkins bakery, Nottingham.
The menu is now expanded to include hot food, breakfasts, panini, jacket potato with fillings and daily specials such as quiche. Including vegetarian /gluten free options).
Other facilities on site include a children’s play area and 2 wildlife ponds. There is wheelchair access to the Tea Room via ramps on 2 sides, however regretfully there are no disabled toilets. Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash. Plants & seeds are available to purchase on site and on line.

We try and use local produce were we can, we use our local butcher David Cox for all of our Breakfast rolls and homemade sausage rolls. We have fantastic homemade cakes made by myself and Emma from Vale homemade bakes based in Bottesford. Our coffee is roasted by 200 degrees in Nottingham and we grind our own for you to enjoy.
We have limited seating inside for 10 but we also have an outside seating area as well. Attached to our café is a convenience store full of local goodies and on a Saturday we have the fabulous Hambleton Bakery bread.
The Tea Room for Dove Cottage Day Hospice is situated just a stone’s throw away from the hospice on the beautiful banks of the Grantham Canal in the Vale of Belvoir.
Its unique location provides the opportunity for visitors to take a walk along the along the tow path of the canal, take in a light lunch or afternoon tea and cake and browse the charity shop.
The tea room is on a single level so is wheelchair/pushchair friendly. Muddy walkers, riders, cyclists are always welcome.

We provide a premium mobile catering service from Van Henri, our beautifully restored 1972 Citroen HY van. We are available for weddings, fetes, corporate events, sporting events … and can cover the East Midlands and further afield.
We specialise in providing high quality coffee, tea, cakes, and morning pastries. We favour local suppliers, so our coffee is roasted for us by 200 Degrees in Nottingham – and decaf, Gluten Free and vegan options are always available. We grind and brew our coffee on board with our Fracino espresso machine.
We can bring tables and chairs along to create a relaxed café space around Van Henri. We accept all major credit cards, along with Apple Pay and Android Pay – and for your peace of mind we’re rated 5 stars under the FSA ‘scores on the doors’ scheme. We only use fully recyclable cups, too.
Van Henri can also be hired separately as a stunning backdrop or drinks / food servery for your event.
