Last year’s Flower Festival was such a success. Glorious weather helped with a great turnout of people on the day, although the dry spell also proved slightly challenging for the garden builders.

You can expect to find a huge array of retailers at this event selling everything gardening from plants to stunning garden sculptures and beautiful furniture, fire pits and bbqs.

Taking Place on the 13th and 14th of July the festival will once again be set on the banks of the Belvoir upper lake, which is fed by the River Devon, enjoying wonderful panoramic views of Belvoir Castle and the surrounding Capability Brown Parkland landscape.

Inspiration for those with a love of gardening will be found from a mix of specialist plant growers, garden furniture, sculpture artists, show gardens, border displays, tools, and crafts, with plenty of opportunities to purchase something special for your own gardens. Several of our Exhibitors Will be also at RHS Chelsea.

Local Artists will perform on the Music stage and a range of foods and refreshments will also be on offer.

Meanwhile in the talk’s tent our Expert Horticulturists will be on hand to answer your gardening questions, Our Panel led by John Stirland also includes at different times a mix from Paula Routledge, Alan Mason, Nick Hamilton, Mark Smith, Karen Gimson, Andrew Fisher Tomlin, and Professor David Stevens.

Allotment and Wellbeing Ambassador, Annabelle Padwick from ‘Life at No.27’ will also be there to talk about her exciting gardening and GYO UK wide vision and project , and International Floral Designer Jonathan Moseley will be providing demonstrations.

This year will see the introduction of an exciting new borders competition kindly sponsored by The London College of Garden Design .The Festival will be supporting the Gardeners Royal Benevolent Society, Perennial, with a donation from each ticket sold going to them, I am also supporting the attendance of several other nominated charities Macmillan, Highground, The Woodland Trust, The Rosie May Foundation and Team Edward Labrador Rescue.
