Features

The Landings is ideally placed between the villages of Langar and Harby, both with very good pubs. Bingham is the most local town, with Melton Mowbray, Grantham and Nottingham further afield. The area is famous for it’s Stilton cheese and pork pies with Melton Mowbray known as the “Rural Capital of Food”. We are also close to the Colston Bassett and Cropwell Bishop dairies where the best Stilton can be purchased.

We are a Camping & Caravan club C S site located on a pleasant rural site, on working arable farmland. We have a mix of hard standing and grassland pitches for caravans and tents, which are available for use all year round. The Pitches also offer convenient electric hook up points and water for our guests. Only a short walk from the pitches is our newly equipped Barrack room. This is complete with shower, flushing toilet, hand and pot washing facilities as well as cassette and waste water emptying points and recycling/general bins.

The pitches are named after the aircraft based at Langar during its time as an active airfield. These include Lancaster, Vulcan, Lincoln, Dakota and Shackleton. The large camping area with hookups available is known as the Billets.

Adjacent the campground is our four star B&B find us at Little Langar Lodge
