Taster Day at the Glass & Art Studio

Our taster days are ideal for complete beginners or those with more experience.

Throughout the day you will learn how to cut glass safely, use a range of glass including frits, stringers and metal inclusions. As well as designing and creating your own fused glass including the following pieces:

– 24 cm square plate
– 2 coasters
– mini wall art
– fused jewellery

Tutor Katie Hinder, studied Glass, Architectural Glass and Ceramics BA Hons at The University of Sunderland. Katie has been making and teaching for over 10 years and enjoys creating informal and fun sessions at the new studio in Long Bennington.
