Stargazing with tea and cake!
Join us for a fun and informative evening with tea & cake and discover our dark sky. We meet once a month on Friday evenings from 7.30pm until late.Everyone is most welcome, from complete beginners to complete astronomical geniusis! We’ve got the perfect spot for stargazing. Our unique elevated location (approx 137 meters above sea level) in the middle of a field, provides excellent dark sky conditions, with minimum light pollution. On a clear night the Milky Way is clearly visible and even constellations in the lower sky. With easy access and free parking. Our cozy tea room is a great place to chat and share information. We even have a slide projection screen, perfect for talks and presentations, as demonstrated above by Paul Money one of our regular speakers, he’ll be joining us in November, with another astronomical presentation.
