Bill and Dave’s Grave Adventures – the Quest for the Golden Pumpkin

Like the WWII Japanese soldier emerging from the jungle in Okinawa in the late 1980’s – the last contestant of the New Year’s Day 2021 Getlostathon emerged from the bush of Belvoir last week to arrive dishevelled but triumphant at CVV HQ to claim what he thought was first prize.
Alas, all he did was inspire Bill and Dave @notwocycles to conjure up a variation on the Getlostathon orienteering theme with a Halloween twist. More waypoints have been added, more points are therefore available in addition to a cryptic clue to find the elusive Golden Pumpkin.
If the code is cracked and the GP is spotted then additional points will be granted. Do NOT hide the GP from other contestants!!

Two time limit rides are available – 1.5 hours and 3 hours. There will be a winner in each category but beware – excessively harsh time penalties will be incurred for every minute over your elected time. Points mean prizes but don’t be greedy!

All you have to do is turn up at CVV HQ between 1000hrs and 1200hrs Saturday 30th October – pay £12 for adults £5 for kids (under 15) – receive a welcoming coffee or tea and snackette – get briefed by Big Dave and be provided with a map. The second you have the map in your sweaty palms, the clock starts ticking!
Arrive back at CVV for a hearty Pumpkin soup and some banter. What more do you want? Nothing I hear you shout! Apart from the prize that is!
