Papercraft Notebook & Card Workshop
Friday 20th September 10am until 1pm
Spend a creative morning enjoying the ‘art’ of paper crafting and release your creativity. Our talented tutor Helen will inspire you, demonstrating different techniques and designs to decorate the cover of a hardback notebook. By using papers, ribbon, and embellishments provided, you will also make a paper flower or two to add to the front and personalise using stamps and inks.
This relaxing session is the perfect way to get away from everything, enjoy some ‘me time’ and the pleasures of paper crafting. Once having completed your notebook, you will then go on to make some unique, personalised cards using dies, stamps, inks and punches.
No experience is necessary all tools, materials and refreshments included.

Your Tutor Helen Houlden
Helen has a passion for creating and crafting. Coming from a creative home she is an accomplished Sugarcrafter, having trained at City & Guilds to be a chef then in Sugarcraft too, later doing another C&G in Creative Studies and a teaching course 13 years later. In between her job she made cakes, eventually concentrating on Cakes and Sugarcraft which she has for the past 30 yrs, with home décor running alongside it and now Papercraft for the past 10 years. Many of the techniques can be used in both subjects even though the mediums are different.
She started on her papercraft journey ten years ago for relaxation, however as she loves to show and share her passions through demonstrations and classes, she couldn’t resist the growing opportunity to teach Papercrafting too. Her favourite style is Vintage but also loves ‘clean cards’ with her favourite technique being stamping, with mixed media styles incorporated on some home décor pieces. All these types of crafting are very popular now as people find creative ways to relax in their busy lives.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, group size will be limited to 10.
