A murder has been committed! Can you help solve the mystery?
The village of Little Whining sits in the centre of rural Leicestershire. It boasts a population of 267 people, approximately 75 ponies, 300 sheep and not to mention a number of well groomed dogs and cats.
The pride of the village is the cricket team, which dates back many years. However, the team is struggling and in recent years has only taken away a ‘good tea’ from it’s matches.
Until the appearance of Tom Bowler, a dynamic ex professional cricketer turned entrepreneur who has come to settle in the village.
The village is hosting the last cricket match before the end of the season. All seems to be going well, but after the grizzly discovery of Tom Bowler’s murdered body in the Pavilion during half time, the appetite for the local jam is put at risk!
Is anyone safe? Will the match go ahead as planned now that a death has occurred?
Fortunately the world famous detective Hercule Smith is on hand to save the day…
