Fancy a little Noel’s House Party?!Johnny, Andy, Ray, Dave and Jo are back and they want you to be their GUEST!
NEW for 2019 we have been invited back every other month and we are changing it up a little…
Our past jams have been awesome but we have sometimes struggled to give everyone enough playing time & Jo ends up talking ALOT so we want to give you all advance notice of forthcoming dates and music…so if you are planning on dropping-by you can give us a little heads up and we can play around with the setlist (rather than by the seat of Jo’s pants on the night)…
We promise not to lose the vibe of what we have achieved with past jams but just want to improve them…
If you have jammed with us before and plan on coming again….drop us a message; let us know when we might see you again…if you haven’t had chance and fancy coming along, send us a message, give us an idea of your jam and we will try and work something out…
Also up for grabs an acoustic spot at the start of the night available for 20 minutes if you would like this space get in touch…
Ciao for Now!!
Watch this space for future dates…
Sorry I can’t make it! For a change I’m working away. Here’s a simulation of what it would have been like if I had come. Its top fun actually! Register your interest with Jo and have a go.

Playing live from 9pm with the beer flowing and the pizza ovens on! These guys were fantastic fun when they played a Sunday session here last year, so we’re expecting another great evening.
The Generous Briton (Genny B): ‘Mandarins’ 9pm
‘Mandarins’ are a live rock covers band based in Nottinghamshire, England, they have multiple lead vocalists. “We use Guitars, Bass, Drums and other instruments. Playing an eclectic mix of music from the 60’s to present day”. Mandarins are ideal for most occasions and venues, from live music pubs and clubs to private or corporate functions and also festivals. in 2015 they played several festivals and even headlined at Nottingham Beer Festival in the grounds of Nottingham Castle. Featuring my old mate Roger Chilvers on Bass and sharing Vocal duties Mandarins return to the Melton area with a totally revamped set list and line-up. Let me just say that, “Mr Rog” is the thinking man’s Bass player and is bloody awesome with it too! He makes it look fun and effortless. It’s enough to make me wanna take up Bass from just watching. To see guys in action here’s a video from last year. For a selection of their set list, please visit website: www.mandarinsband.co.uk
The Noels Arms: ‘Cocked N’ Loaded’ 9.30pm
After a busy year of gigs & festivals, ‘Cocked n’ Loaded’ return to The Noels with their Hair Metal hits from Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Poison, Love/Hate & Firehouse are the order of the day. Let CnL take you back to the 80s where the Sunset Strip was loud, clothes were tight, hair was long, and the solos longer. The good times are back, at The Noels this Saturday.
At Hillfest 2015 my mate and top Rock fan Pete Finn said of Cocked n’ Loaded “honestly it was like being back a school I had 45 minutes of the top Rock bands that I grew up with. It was as if my record player had a 4500 Watt PA strapped to it and it ‘F’ing Descended’ into Hillfest. It’s Just like Download for Us! Thank you cocked N’ Loaded”
If you’re a big fan of Melton Gig Guide, then you will know this already. Matt Chubb saved Melton gig guide when its 123.reg website broke in late 2016. Matt not only ported us to his own webn hosting company, he gave invaluable advice, and time, and the very files needed to transform Melton Gig Guide from the plain one page simple site (Look at www.rifftrade.co.uk to see what it used to look like, as Rifftrade’s website stood in for Melton Gig Guide whilst we figured it all out). Melton Mowbray and I, owe Matt Chubb a pint. So, if you’re at The Noels, pat him on the back, buy him and his lovely wife a beer. Melton Owes Matt a Beer as do I! Thanks Matt x
