Kooroon Gallery Exhibition: Julie and David Powell

Introducing ‘BluStorkStudio’, a husband and wife team; David & Julie Powell– she paints, he takes photographs! When the opportunity arose for early retirement, they grabbed it with both hands. Julie and David had long held a dream of owning a motorhome and taking off on adventures. When they realised that dream, they began to record some of the beautiful places they were visiting, with camera, pen and brush. This exhibition brings together some of the work from real and creative journeys.

Photographer Eric Desvergnes on commenting to the Powells said “Your photos are like paintings … and your paintings are like photos!”
