An acoustic tribute to the late Chris Cornell. Stripped down versions of songs by Temple Of The Dog, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Chris Cornell solo material and covers that Chris performed on his solo tours.
Chris Cornell, probably best known as the singer from Soundgarden and one of the best rock vocalists of my generation. An amazing talent taken from the music world far too soon.
Late in his career, Chris released several solo albums and toured as a solo acoustic artist, which truly showed what an amazing musician and incredible vocalist he was.
On his solo tours he performed stripped-down acoustic versions of his own solo material as well as songs by Temple Of The Dog, Soundgarden and Audioslave. There were also cover versions of songs by Prince, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson and others which were all delivered in the special Chris Cornell way. These are the songs that I wish to reproduce in this project.

The Noels Arms: ‘The Blue Ryders’ 9.30pm (Debut)
The Blue Ryders are a contemporary electric blues band keeping the heritage and excitement of the blues greats alive today.
Reinterpreting the hits from the 1950’s through to the late 1970’s The Blue Ryders deliver an electrifying performance showcasing songs from Albert King, Otis Rush, Tampa Red, Albert Collins, Magic Sam, Guitar Slim, Junior Wells, T-Bone Walker, Jimmy Reed, Chester Burnett and Freddie King to name but a few.
The band consists of Neil Campsie and Andy Goldthorpe on guitars, Gary Toogood on bass, Patrick King on drums and Ken Ellis on vocals.
These musicians are all masters of their craft and have many years of performance experience. They are consummate professionals who delight in presenting a show that delivers the excitement and exhilaration of the original performances.
