THE CASTLE
Choose from a guided tour of the state rooms with one of our knowledgeable Belvoir guides, or discover the wonders of Belvoir Castle for yourself on a free flow visit.
- Guided Castle tours start at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.00pm and last 1-1½ hours. Tours do not need to be pre-booked, guides will be waiting at the time slots for visitors in the Pre-Guard Room.
- Free flow admission – anytime between 11.00am – 4.00pm, with our friendly Castle Guides on hand to answer your questions throughout your visit.
Please note that the last admission to the Castle is at 4.00pm, the Castle doors close at 5.00pm, and the Ticket Office gate is locked at 5.30pm.
Admission into the Castle is free for wheelchair users (ground floor only).
You’ll find WCs for disabled visitors in the Castle and Ticket Office car park. It takes around 15 minutes to walk up to the Castle from the Ticket Office, and it’s quite a steep hill. For the less mobile, there is limited parking up at the Castle – ask at the Ticket Office for a parking pass.
Due to the various terrains around the Castle, gardens and woodlands, we recommend flat sensible shoes with grips. Tickets purchased can be used on any day the Castle is open. Why not pop in to the Engine Yard afterwards to browse the lovely shops and have some refreshments in the Fuel Tank restaurant.
