Kooroon Gallery is delighted to bring you the exquisite, detailed and realistic oil paintings of Julie Powell and the beautiful photography of her husband David Powell who captures wonderful images on their travels around the UK. Together they are ‘BluStorkStudio’. 

The creativity gene has been present in both for most of their lives, however working the long hours in jobs that they loved, left precious little time for anything else – a common problem. When the opportunity arose for early retirement, they grabbed it with both hands. They had long held a dream of owning a motorhome and taking off on adventures. When they realised that dream, they began to record some of the beautiful places they were visiting, with camera, pen and brush.
