Jane Millum works primarily as PollyWhistle to tell tall tales of small folk and the worlds they inhabit in textiles, paper and mixed media. Currently studying for a Masters in Illustration from Falmouth University, Jane’s work has grown to incorporate imagery in a variety of 2d and 3d media including papier mache and artist books. For this exhibition Jane will bring together some of her new work including that from her Field Fayre Faux-lore illustrated poem and textile explorations mapping her Family Folktales
In addition, Kooroon is delighted to bring the delightful, quirky sculptures of Mark Hodson to the gallery and into The Old Sorting House’s beautiful Quiet Garden. Mark works with recycled materials including metal and wood to create sculptures for both garden and indoor decoration.
