Where better to celebrate Apple Day than at the home of the most famous apple tree of all?
Here at Woolsthorpe Manor, our Apple Day celebration is a delightful day where we get to share our passion for science, nature and apples in the presence of Newton’s tree.
Join an orchard tour to understand how we manage a historic orchard and protect our famous ‘Flower of Kent’ tree, taste a variety of local apples and make your own juice with an apple press.
We have heaps of apple inspired scientific activities for all age groups. In the place where Isaac Newton was inspired by the fall of an apple; you can use apples to build crazy structures (engineering principles apply, obviously), and try and make the longest peel.
Join us on Sunday 13 October to celebrate all things apple!
Normal admission applies. Some small charges for activities may apply.
