Full Description

Eaton is a very attractive village with many character stone buildings including a Norman church. Thomas Wright who lived in the medieval main street was born here in 1774 at Old Moore’s Cottage. Wright made predictions for his almanack by gazing at the stars through three windows in the attic (Old Moore’s Almanack).

The 17th century listed Millhouse is situated on the outskirts of the village in a beautiful, secluded valley along with the newly converted holiday cottages.

There are 2 newly renovated pubs within walking distance that serve good food, Tesco also deliver. Plus there is a Post Office and Butchers amongst others.

We specialise in short breaks all year round.
