The stuccoed, apricot-washed Georgian house is approached by an avenue of limes and has grounds that include a series of carp ponds. It stands next to the quiet church in the village of Langar, in the Vale of Belvoir, Nottinghamshire, close to the borders with Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
