(Or try Yoga and Cake Friday on alternate weeks)
Practice mindfulness and present moment awareness through the ancient practices of Tai Chi and tea drinking. Option to enjoy a piece of delicious cake too (mindfully of course ?)
Costs £6 per person (which includes a donation of £1 to HOPE cancer charity)
All refreshments will be charged separately at the cafe.
These sessions will take place outdoors surrounded by nature (weather permitting).
Please note that if the elements are not so kind we have an indoor alternative.
Tai Chi meaning ultimate or grand energy is a soft martial art, practiced slowly and gently for its health benefits. Combining deep breathing and relaxation techniques with slow, gentle movements. These classes help to develop a quiet mind, promoting mindfulness, calmness, focus and inner peace. Improve co-ordination and concentration and stimulate your memory as you keep your brain young and active by learning something new. Also, increasing muscle strength in your legs, aiding mobility, flexibility and balance – reducing the risk of falls.
