‘Mistabeat’ are a Four piece 50’s. 60’s and 70’s covers band, established 6 years and based in North Nottinghamshire. The band is something of a family affair, originally formed by brothers Johnny (Bass Guitarist) and Keith (Drummer) along with their nephew Alan on Lead Guitar and childhood friend Del on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals. The line up has inevitably changed over the years but founder members Johnny and Keith remain with the addition of John on lead guitar and Dave as lead Vocalist . Mistabeat play primarily Rock and Roll, Punk, Glam and Classic Rock but now also with a few more recent songs in the set. Artistes covered range from The Beatles to T Rex, Creedence Clearwater Revival to Chuck Berry and ZZ Top to Status Quo. The band play throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire and as well as playing the pub and club circuit frequently participate in music festivals and charity events. They have played Wellowfest in Nottinghamshire when Sir Bob Geldof and The Boomtown Rats headlined. It is always the band’s aim for everyone to have a rocking good evening, to enjoy themselves and to get up dancing! ”
